|   The Missouri Association of Naturopathic Physicians
(MANP) is a tax-exempt 501c(6) organization of Naturopathic physicians
(ND) and citizens who promote high standards, licensing of creditably
trained Naturopathic physicians in Missouri, and who educate the
public and government.
The
Missouri Association of Naturopathic Physicians offers professional
membership to naturopathic physicians who have been creditably trained
by receiving four years of undergraduate training at an accredited
college or university, and four years of doctoral level training
and from an accredited a Naturopathic college. Professional members
of the in Missouri Association of naturopathic physicians must be
able to pass the National Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Exam
(NPLEX). The Missouri Association of Naturopathic Physicians also
offers supporting membership to other health professionals and non-professionals
who wish to support the same goals of the Missouri Association of
Naturopathic Physicians and student membership to students of accredited
colleges or universities.
The mission of the Missouri Association of naturopathic physicians
is:
To
aggressively work for the licensure of Naturopathic physicians in
the state of Missouri thus making naturopathic medicine available
to Missouri citizens and by such also protect the public.
To offer referral for the public to credibly train naturopathic physicians
who are members of the Missouri Association of naturopathic physicians.
To
provide a professional membership organization to licensable credibly
train naturopathic physicians and to monitor our professional interest
in Missouri legislative affairs.
To
work together to educate the public of the value of Naturopathic
medicine and make it available to all Missouri citizens.
Naturopathic physicians(ND's) are primary care physicians
that use natural treatments. Naturopathic physicians treat disease
and restore health-using therapies from the sciences of clinical
nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, physical medicine, exercise

Naturopathic Physicians (N.D.'s) are primary care
physicians that use natural treatments. Naturopathic physicians
treat disease and restore health using therapies from the sciences
of clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, physical medicine,
exercise therapy, lifestyle reform, counseling, natural childbirth
and hydrotherapy. Naturopathic Physicians also perform physical
examinations, use laboratory testing when necessary.
